About Me
Up until the age of 12, I literally knew nothing about computers. Sure, I had played around with PC games and surfed the web, but all with novice experience. It wasn’t until I saw a friend of mine create his own personal web site that I really started taking on an interest in computers. I worked summers as a cabana boy to earn enough money to buy my own computer. Once I purchased my first computer at the age of 14 I began searching the internet for tutorials on learning how to code in HTML, the standard web language that allows for text and graphics to be displayed in a web browser. In a matter of weeks I was creating my own personal web sites, experimenting with more advanced javascript coding and learning design basics for creating professional looking web sites.
I took to learning HTML code and scripting like a duck in water, but struggled with the designing phase of web site development. However, as years passed and I graduated from High School, I had the talent that companies were looking for that allowed me to work full-time as a web site designer and the luxury of working with more advanced graphic artists that helped me along with developing more professional looks as well as teaching me more advanced purposes of such photo editing tools as Photoshop and Illustrator. I credit Roy Baker, my web site development and graphic mentor. Roy, an extremely talented graphic artist and animator, taught me all of the ins and outs of the internet medium. He gave me the hands on experience that I needed to become an accomplished web site designer and the confidence to venture out on my own and start up my own business. Always having an entrepreneurial mindset along with excellent organizational skills, I took to having my own company as second nature.
